Said the fly to the spider

Like the wayward fly praying upon the venomous spider, how do you spin your web so wondrously may I ask?
Well… as the spider cleared her throat to say, I prey upon this purpose in life in which I’m soulfully and duly tasked. As sure as I connect all my strands about here and there and such – to make them form my perfect circle – I toss about my threads far and near from a spinning gland’s glorious weaving clutch.
But the fly soon grew wearisome from such long explanations and out of frustration asked, why is your web so beautiful?
To which the spider had little to say but that was what you were taught to feel. Now hush while I partake in my evening’s meal.
